Description

The Women's Rugby Team is hosting a silent auction and fundraiser on November 2 from 5 to 9 PM. We encourage the Western community, and especially our Women's Rugby Team alumni, to join us for this very special celebration. You'll enjoy dinner, drinks, and the wonderful company of fellow alumni. The attire is formal.

This event follows the alumni rugby match, so please feel free to join us for both!

As you all may know, our mission is to promote and teach the sport of rugby, empower young women, develop player-athletes to their highest potential in a positive environment while encouraging discipline, commitment, integrity and honor both on and off the pitch. As student-athletes, these women not only focus on school and rugby, but also spend much of their off time in the community and giving back. On average, the team logs 400 volunteer hours every year. As a club sport, most of our funding comes from the players themselves and our fundraising efforts. Over the last 43 years, support from alumni, friends and family have been deeply important to the success of the team. We hope you can join us on this night to help continue the success of this team and empower many more women to play rugby.
