Western Welcomes Home

To provide greater support to students and programs at WWU, Kena Greer Brashear, owner of the Bellingham-area real estate agency The Muljat Group, has announced a plan to donate a portion of total agency compensation to benefit students at Western. Under the program, called “Western Welcomes Home,” Muljat will donate 25% of agency compensation from qualified home sales to The Foundation. 

“We’re thrilled about Muljat Group’s partnership with Western Washington University,” said Greer Brashear. “I am proud to take this significant step forward, offering our agents and their clients the opportunity to contribute to education, innovation and economic development in our region.”

As a proud alumna of WWU (’95), Greer Brashear looks forward to seeing the funds put to use in the student community. The donations from Muljat will go to a fund that will prioritize scholarships for student athletes, programs to support students who are single parents, and help for students who are struggling with food and housing insecurity.

“This collaboration not only signifies growth, but also a fantastic opportunity for our agents to give back to the community,” added Greer Brashear.
