WWU goes to Olympia

On Thursday, January 30, the College Promise Coalition, public two- and four-year trustees, student organizations, labor representatives, and other higher education stakeholders joined forces at the State Capitol in Olympia to advocate for higher education. More than 100 advocates from across the state came together to speak with our legislators about the importance of funding our colleges and universities. 

WWU was proudly represented by Jody Mull (’84), a member of The Foundation for WWU & Alumni board, Emeritus Alumni Board member Don Hardwick (’84) and Trustees Maria Siguenza (’10), Mo West, and student Trustee Tina Ekhteraee-Sanaee.
