Muljat and WWU Homes for Education
The Muljat Group and The Foundation for WWU & Alumni have announced a new program to support education at Western Washington University.
In an innovative effort to provide greater support to students and programs at WWU, Kena Greer-Brashear, owner of the Bellingham-area agency The Muljat Group, has developed a plan to donate a portion of the agency’s compensation to benefit students at Western.
“We’re thrilled about Muljat Group’s partnership with Western Washington University,” said Greer-Brashear. “We are proud to take this significant step forward, offering our agents a chance to merge education and real estate in a way that promotes innovation and economic development.”
As a proud supporter of WWU, Muljat will donate 25% of the agency’s compensation for qualified transactions to fund scholarships and support other designated programs at Western.
“This collaboration not only signifies growth, but also creates a meaningful opportunity for our agents to give back to the community,” Greer-Brashear added. “We’re eager to see the positive impact this program will have and look forward to the ways we can support students and the university.”
Donations from Muljat will support scholarships for student-athletes, programs for students who are single parents, and resources for students experiencing food and housing insecurity.
“We are so grateful to Kena and the entire Muljat team for this creative and innovative partnership,” said Kim Hill, President and CEO of The Foundation for WWU & Alumni. “This financial support will help WWU students thrive in their pursuit of a college education, and we know many in our community will welcome the opportunity to participate in this wonderful program.”
Although the program is designed with Western faculty and staff in mind, any community member is eligible to participate. To be eligible, clients must register in advance through the Muljat website at muljatgroup.com/.
