Ashley Zuckerberg
Ashley began her education in archaeology in WWU’s Anthropology program. Here she participated in archaeology field school at Woodstock Farms. Sadly, her conducting field work was cut short due to allergies. She went on to work in the archaeology lab cataloging, sorting, and cleaning various items in the collection. Hours working with collections and interning at the Whatcom History Museum were the first steps towards the museum phase of her career.
Ashley’s professional museum career positions have been at two major museums in Seattle, the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) and the Museum of Flight. In her roles she has touched Picassos, hung out with astronauts, and organized record breaking Star Wars Events. Please come hear Ashley share her epic career Journey and answer any questions on how you can apply your anthropology degree.
