Description
Join us for an inspiring conversation with Rob Angel ('81), the founder of the best-selling and iconic board game, Pictionary.
In 1985, Rob Angel was a 26-year-old waiter from Seattle. With no experience and relying on his intuition, hard work, and an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, he built Pictionary into a global powerhouse. After borrowing $35,000 from a family member, he assembled the first 1,000 games by hand in his tiny apartment. In just four short years and with only two employees, Pictionary became the biggest-selling board game in the world.
For the next 15 years, Rob shepherded Pictionary to worldwide sales of 38,000,000 games in over 60 countries and 45 languages, with over $1.2 billion in sales. He sold the game to Mattel in 2001.
Rob will share his journey of becoming an entrepreneur and his experiences as a student at Western Washington University. This is a unique opportunity to gain insights from a true innovator and business leader.
We look forward to seeing you there!
