Description
Join us for a special alumni gathering in the beautiful Methow Valley, where community, sustainability, and mountain life come together. Whether you’re a local alum, are family of a current Western student, or connected through Sustainability Pathways, we’d love to see you, catch up, and celebrate the place and programs that bring us together.
Saturday, April 25 | 4–6 PM
Join us for a relaxed evening with light appetizers and beverages, great conversation, and time to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends at the Twisp Valley Grange. We look forward to hearing your ideas for future alumni gatherings as well.
Sunday, April 26 | 9:00-2:30 PM
Stick around for an optional stewardship hike at Loup Loup Canyon, recently donated to Western Washington University. Those interested can help contribute to a species inventory of the site and learn more about native plants as we hike. We’ll meet in Twisp and caravan to the canyon and will provide a sack lunch. Just bring your hiking shoes, water bottle, and sense of adventure.
Coming for the 45th Annual Sunflower Race? Perfect timing—we’d love to see you while you’re here!
We hope you’ll join us for a weekend of connection, community, and celebration for Western of the Methow Valley!
