The Office of Multicultural Student Services welcomes you to join us in celebrating 35 years of the Ethnic Student Center’s rich and vibrant legacy! Come celebrate this milestone with a fun evening of community and friendship!
Join fellow ESC alumni and experience the joy, connection, and spaces we have fostered through culture and shared identity on Western’s campus. We’ll be gathering for a special potluck celebration at the new Multicultural Center in the Viking Union, bringing together ESC students, staff, friends, and alumni.

Start the Evening with the WWU Alumni Awards
Before our potluck, we encourage everyone to attend the WWU Alumni Awards Celebration, held in the Viking Union beginning at 5:30p.m.. Celebrate Western’s newest award recipients while enjoying delicious appetizers and beverages!

ESC Memorabilia
Throughout the weekend, we’ll have a collection of photos on display for you to browse and reminisce. We’re also gathering ESC memorabilia—including photos, flyers, and banners—for our archives. If you’re willing to donate or share any items, we invite you to bring them with you.
Office of Multicultural Student Services
Today, the Office of Multicultural Student Services hosts a variety of resources including the Black Student Coalition (BSC), created through student advocacy; the Blue Resource Center - centering undocumented communities, immigrants, and students from mixed-status families; La Plaza, our Latine Student Center; and the Ethnic Student Center with over 25 clubs! There are also plans to establish an APIDA Center.

- Mon-Fri, 7:00am-4:30pm: limited paid parking is available at the south C lots and north 6V and 7G lots.
- Purchase your permit at the lot pay stations or use the Parkmobile app.
- More parking details for campus visitors are available online.
Parking at WWU on Weekdays for Visitors with Disabilities
- Mon-Fri, 7:00am-4:30pm: both a WWU permit and state disability placard are needed.
- Purchase your permit at the pay stations in lot C or 6V or use the Parkmobile app (use Zone 1200). This allows parking in any disability space. If these are full, you can use a non-reserved space nearby.
