Wind Symphony • Symphonic Band • Symphonic Winds • Viking Athletic Band

We’re excited to invite you to our first-ever WWU Band Alumni Reunion — and we’d love to see you there! Join us for an evening memories, and mingling with fellow alumni and WWU Music faculty and staff, including Paul Bain, Director of Bands and Christopher Bianco, former Director of Bands and Dean of CFPA. We’ll catch you up on the latest accomplishments of our amazing students and all the exciting happenings in the program. 

Come have a drink on us (feel free to bring your +1) and reconnect with your old friends, professors, and staff. We miss you and want to hear about your life!

Paul Bain, Director of Bands

Paul Bain joined the WWU faculty in 2022 as Director of Bands.  He leads the band program and teaches courses in conducting. Active as a clinician and guest conductor throughout the Pacific Northwest, he is recognized for his detailed musicianship and commitment to high-quality wind band performance.
