On behalf of the Theta Phi Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and the Accounting Society at Western Washington University, we would like to cordially invite you to the Annual Accounting Spring Banquet.
The 2026 Spring Banquet is an opportunity to network with accounting professionals, accounting students, alumni, and faculty. It is also a platform to acknowledge and honor those with outstanding achievements and celebrate our new officers.
The Beta Alpha Psi and Accounting Society Spring Banquet will be held at the Port of Bellingham Cruise Terminal on Thursday, May 14th, 2026. Activities will begin with a social at 6:00pm, which will be followed by dinner and presentations starting at 6:30pm. Attire is business professional or business casual.
We're excited to announce that we'll be bringing back The Dessert Dash, our Spring Banquet fundraising activity! Be prepared to bid on the best dessert!

Mike Hopkins is a Certified Public Accountant with deep expertise in the retail dealer industry and a passion for helping clients and teams achieve their goals. He began his academic journey at Yakima Valley Community College, graduating in 1996, and went on to earn his degree from Western Washington University in 1998.
While at WWU, Mike was an active member of the Accounting Society and Beta Alpha Psi, where he served as Vice President during his senior year and was a state case competition winner for the chapter.
Mike started his career at Clothier & Head, PS, a Seattle-based CPA firm, before becoming one of the founding partners of Rekdal Hopkins Howard, PS (RH2). Over the years, he has built a reputation for excellent client service and his commitment to his motto: Feed your Family, Provide for Others and Have Fun doing it.
Beyond his professional work, Mike is dedicated to mentorship and community involvement. He enjoys coaching youth sports, supporting the development of young accountants, and spending quality time with friends and family. Mike and his wife Lori have two children, Carson and Allie. In his free time, he can be found playing card games, fishing, or attending local sporting events.
