You are invited to join us for a special evening on the WWU campus to celebrate the 2024 Western Washington University Alumni Award winners! On the evening of May 10, we will honor these five distinguished alumni awardees who were chosen in recognition of their professional achievements, service and accomplishments.
Our 2024 awardees are:
DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD
Tony George, class of 1986, president of Kitsap Bank
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
David Cuillier, class of 1990, director of the Brechner Freedom of Information Project at the University of Florida
ALUMNI HUMANITARIAN AWARD
Danny K. Marshall, class of 1980, tribal leader, Steilacoom Tribe
OUTSTANDING YOUNG ALUMNI AWARD

Nicole Burdick, class of 2013, founder, Money Maven Financial
Ruta Nanivadekar, class of 2014, board president, Palouse Pathways
Please join us in recognizing them at a very special reception in the Multipurpose Room in the Viking Union from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. In addition to a brief program, you will enjoy complimentary offerings from Pure Bliss Desserts, A Slice of Heaven, Calypso Kitchen, Lombardi's Italian Restaurant, Doc Swinson's Whiskey and more!
